American tenor Thomas Michael Allen's most important roles include Platée, Tito ("La clemenza di Tito"), Aeneas ("Dido and Aeneas"), Demon ("L'Upupa") and Astradamus ("Il mondo della luna").

He is known for his wide ranging concert reportoire and is one of the most sought after Evangelists to perform Bach's Passions.

Thomas Michael Allen has sang under conductors such as William Christie, René Jacobs, Mark Minkowski, Simone Young, Julia Jones, Gary Bertini, Helmuth Rilling and Kurt Masur.

His second solo CD Far Away, with accompaniment by Charles Spencer, will be released under the record label "Capriccio". His next project includes a recording of Haydn's "La vera costanza" under the record label "deutsche harmonia mundi".
