Representation: Diverse projects
Brazilian tenor Max Jota, after his musical studies in João Pessoa, moved to Italy, where he graduated at the Scuola dell'Opera Italiana of Teatro Comunale in Bologna, at the Accademia di Alto Perfezionamento Lirico in Osimo as well as at LTL Opera Studio Toscano. He made his debut as professional singer in 2013 and since then he has regularly been performing in Italy, Germany, Spain and France.
His repertoire includes, among others, the roles of: Duke of Mantua in „Rigoletto“, Riccardo in „Un ballo in maschera“, Alfredo in „La traviata“, Edgardo in „Lucia di Lammermoor“, Cavaradossi in „Tosca“, Pinkerton in „Madama Butterfly“ and Hoffmann in „Les Contes d'Hoffmann“.
In 2016 he appeared as Ismaele (“Nabucco”) at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari and as Don José (“Carmen”) in Seoul.
At the same time he works on the other leading roles from the Italian and French operatic repertoire, preparing a program with rarely performed operas that he will present at concerts and on his debut CD.
