Berlin based American tenor Eric Fennell has achieved international acclaim since his debut at the Glimmerglass Opera Festival as Rodolfo in La Bohème.  Since then his regular repertoire has included Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Duca (Rigoletto), Don José (Carmen), Roberto (Roberto Devereux), Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Alfredo (La traviata), Gerald (Lakmé), Des Grieux (Manon), Werther (Werther), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) and Roméo (Roméo et Juiliette), and more recently Hoffmann (Les Contes d’Hoffmann), Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera), Roberto (Le Villi) and Don Carlo (Don Carlo). 

Mr. Fennell began his career singing in 6 seasons and 13 roles at the New York City Opera.  His continued success has brought him guest appearances with San Francisco Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Göteborgs Operan, Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Slovak National Theatre , Boston Lyric Opera, the Nationaltheater in Mannheim, Dallas Opera, the St. Margarethen Opernfestspiele, Macau International Opera Festival, Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari, the Latvian National Theatre, Arizona Opera, Pacific Opera Victoria, Tenerife Opera Festival, the National Theatre in Prague and the Lithuanian National Opera.

He has also appeared in concert at the Avery Fisher Hall, Carnegie Hall, Arena di Verona, Spoleto Festival USA, the Washington Concert Opera, the Latvian National Orchestra and the Tokyo City Orchestra.
