Biography Nazanin Ezazi Deutsch (52 kB)
Persian soprano Nazanin Ezazi was studying at the University of Music and Performing Art of Vienna. She is winner of the International „Hans Gabor Belvedere - Singing Competition“ and was nominated in 2014 for the Austrian Music Theatre Price „Goldener Schikaneder“.
In season 2011/12 she became ensemble-member at the Oper Graz where she was singing roles like Adina (L’ELISIR D’AMORE), Pamina (DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE), Dido (DIDO AND AENEAS), Nannetta (FALSTAFF), Helene (EIN WALZERTRAUM), Carlotta (GASPARONE) or Inès (LA FAVORITE). Besides that she sang Sand- and Taumännchen (HÄNSEL UND GRETEL), Antonia (DER MANN VON LA MANCHA) or in CARMINA BURANA.
Last season she sang the titlerole in Massenet’s Manon, Pamina, Jemmy (WILHELM TELL) or Mistress (EVITA). In season 2016/17 she had her debut at the Theater an der Wien and at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim.
Besides her operatic engagement, Nazanin is a member of the Trio SEDONIA, with whom she is performing in many European countries. In 2015 Sedonia has released an album under the major lable Universal Music.
