German Baritone Matthias Goerne is a regular guest at the renowned Concert Halls and Opera Houses as well as at the most important Festivals and has worked with nearly all of the most famous conductors and orchsestras in Europe, America and Asia.
Since his operatic debut as Papagneo at the Salburg Festival in 1997 Matthias Goerne has been singing at the biggest stages such as the Vienna State Opera, the Bavarian State Opera, the Semperoper Dresden, the Royal Opera House Covent Garden London, the Opéra National de Paris, the Teatro Real in Madrid as well as the Metropolitan Opera in New York.
Matthias Goerne performs almost fourty song recital per season with six different programs covering a wide range of composers from Schubert to Berg, Shostakovich and Eisler.
